@PCL hey is there more than 3 endings? i got the mysterious ending first because i saw a second opening than the bad one by going all three ways then the good ending that apparently i'm not supposed to spoil but i will say it was a great idea, it took me a while but once i found out the text was different on some of the items (not mentioning which just to keep it a secret) i figured it out within 30 mins

Which is better: Terraria vs. Minecraft??
posted to Ask by CollinKunsman

oof, hard question it really depends on your style i personally have 400+ hours on both but if you love building Minecraft is the way to go but Terraria is full of OP items and the developers hinted at a creative mode for Terraria, though is not confirmed, i personally like Minecraft better because of the command blocks and 3D aspect, i've tried doing several builds on Terraria and its a lot harder because there is no depth, so for now Minecraft gets the win.

@SPQR thanks but I don’t know if I’m going to pick it up again, I’ve thought of a few game ideas, and there’s one i thought of called “The Destroyer” and literally all you do is fight epic bosses back to back. Unfortunately i have no idea where to start...

lol sorry to do this to you but i'd just use polygott, because its literally all the languages, all you need to do is specify the library and file (.cpp, .c, .hpp, etc.)

Is JavaScript useful? Should I learn it?
posted to Ask by darklordplati

@darklordplati if you want to make a website you'll need knowledge of html, css, and javascript. html makes all the links and sockets work, css plays a role in making your website look nice and user friendly(buttons, pictures, etc.) and javascript makes everything interactive (actually clicking the buttons) or you could just use some sort of website building app (like godaddy)

@CullenDAvello hey one more thing, if you run the program you'll see the character (white rectangle) has a gun (orange rectangle) i have already got the gun rotating with the mouse(as wanted) how could i also get the gun to follow the player(as if he's holding the gun) without interfering with the collision boundaries (invisible rectangles around the room, they are labeled in the r1, r2, ... r20 section) i am very confuse thanks!

@SPQR never mind, figured it out. but i later tried loading in a font from a file but i keep getting a "failed to create the font face" issue, i have had trouble with all types of files including textures (that's why i have all the rectangles instead of textures) and i need some help. is there a #include i need that i don't have or is it something with the working file directory, sorry to bother you again. thank you again, for all your help, and of course... the link

P.S. no i have no clue on how to find or use a working file directory
