Ah it’s that handler is undefed, I can fix that for you rn lol.

Edit: wait no it’s because of where your putting the listen statement (before the actual function definition) I think.

Edit2: oh lol it’s because you were trying to use the actual http port. You’ll have to listen on 8080 (like I did for you) or on 3000 or something like that.

Does Repl.it allow you to code in ASM?
posted to Ask by TsmDan

You can use the GNU as assembler in a polygott repl, or use @mwilki7’s SoftCPU assembler or you could use the asm function as mr.e suggested or you could attempt to down load one from a polygott repl. the GNU as compiler can handle intel syntax.

C - why does my code ask for 4 grades, not 3?
posted to Ask by ThomasLewis

It’s because of the \n in your scanf’s first string for each of them. After taking them out it worked as expected.
If you wanted it specifically to be that they must press enter , then I suggest finding another way.

hello lovely strangers, I am trying to round the output of "price" to 2dp.
posted to Ask by 4moulg61

You can use the G specifier plus the precision specifier to make the float be output to a certain precision. I think.

#include <stdio.h>

int main(){
  float x = 4758.888;
  printf("%.2G",x);
  return 0;
}

Use a function macros instead of regular functions to reduce call overhead. 😜 jk.

Uh, small and kinda weird thing: switch the order in which you test the conditionals, so like
(cond1 && cond2) becomes (cond2 && cond1). This is because of short circuiting. If you don’t know what that is it’s really easy, just look it up. Actually going on that I suggest just putting the results of the calls in a bool for each and then use those in the conditionals to reduce the amount of calls your making. That’ll be better.

@Legolas5582 I Haven’t really done any online schools besides the stuff on repl.it, but I wouldn’t say I have a lot of experience either. I don’t really have anything I can tell you is definitely good, but tutorialspoint seems to have a tutorial for almost everything. Maybe try them.
