It is true though, I am not really going for speed with my approximations.

Pi but not... Just read plz

Wow! That's cool! It really is very inaccurate, but interesting nonetheless! #^__ ^#

I haven't seen it done this way, but it's a bit funny, honestly!

Good work, really!

@SixBeeps Yeah, that hurt.. T^T

Luckily I still remembered the majority of it, so it didn't take too long to rewrite. I shudder to imagine what would happen if that happened to my PocketMonsters code... O___O"

@AmazingMech2418 I am not sure, you've done so much that I would not have thought of, that I cannot think of what's next, haha

I am taking a break from it for now, for the sake of my sanity (I highlighted this on my first post in months earlier today LOL). I've gotten MAJORLY snagged on one major problem, the same one for a while now; drawing the screen. I can't seem to find modules or tactics for having multiple turtles drawing at once that I understand/can have access to..

If you're looking for inspiration on Python programs to write, maybe try doing small games, or (my favorite!!!) displaying examples of mathematical principles! The majority of my programs are math-related, and I have thoroughly enjoyed making all of them! ^ ^'

Though, if you aren't a math lover, you could try doing something else educational, something that they either don't teach you about in school, or something that would actually make people want to learn about a subject! For example, I like teaching people about Pi. It is an incredible number that they really do skim over at school, even though it is used every day in almost anything we do!

Sorry for rambling. You do what you think would be interesting or engaging to an audience.wwwwwwwww

Number Guessing Game
posted to Share by leesroxyy

Okay, I've got a few little edits you can make to improve this overall:

-change "to" into "too" (grammar matters!) Also, make sure to capitalize statements that you print.

  • You can import random as r, to save space and time, as well as improve the code's readability.

  • Space out if statements and variables. It looks less cluttered this way. Also, space out chunks of code that are separate, this makes finding code much easier.

  • Finally (This is my personal preference, you don't need this if you don't want it), use double quotations instead of singles ("" versus ''), unless you need to.

Here is the fully fixed code:

import random as r

number = r.randint(1, 20)

guess = int(input("I am thinking of a number between 1 and 20. What is it? "))

while True:
if guess > 20 or guess < 1:
guess = int(input("That's not in my range! Guess a number between 1 and 20: "))
elif guess > number:
print("Too high!")
guess = int(input("Try again: "))
elif guess < number:
print("Too low.. ")
guess = int(input("Try again: "))
else:
print("You guessed it! Good Job!")
break
(I don't know why the indents don't show up, sorry -_- )

@IndyCarter Hey, I just wanna say really quickly, that you shouldn't be saying your age online. I don't think anyone on here has any malicious intentions, but it's best to keep as much of your real life details offline. I'm not the boss of you, of course, but I am a little bit concerned for your safety..

My work for Pi Day ^ ^
posted to Share by LizFoster

@amasad Ha ha, good question! I believe I found it because a teacher at my school noticed my interest in coding, and told me about it. I hadn't thought about it much at the time since I mostly just used PyCharm and stuff like that, but one day I started looking at repl.it, and found it to be much more useful and convenient, since the projects don't take up space on your device.

Kind of boring, I know, ha ha. What about you? Also, thank you for the compliment. ( 〃▽〃)
