@sugarfi I think what @druceb meant was that instead of telling us where we are, who is lennybot, and so on. you should just take us back to the first dialog in the game.

How can I make a new variable from user input

thanks @SixBeeps! but what if I'm using a class so I can give each object some features I want? can I make a dictionary key take a value of an object? If so, how will I do that?

How can I make a new variable from user input
posted to Ask by ThunderCoder

Hi @SixBeeps, thanks for the reply. what I'm trying to do is make and interactive data base, where people can make new pieces of data to store in their own data base.
If I do it the way you mentioned I'm gonna have to go through billions of possibilities before I get the right one.
I'm trying to make an object according to users input which will be passed as parameters to the construction of the object. Now I want to save the object to a variable which is a common way to save objects. How do I use my input in order to create a variable name, without knowing in advance what the input will be?

in line 18:
if int(heat) < 0:
print("you must bet more than that")
else:
the = not True
you probably don't want people gambling for free so you should change it to

if int(heat)<=0

when I input no to: would you like to gamble?
it makes me gamble anyway for 1? is that fair? 😉

great program!
