I don't know ruby all that much, but from looking at your code you forgot to call your def check_words(word)

To convert int to a string use this:
string = str(1234)

what did i do wrong
posted to Ask by AlexanderCairns

So i attempted to fix you problem. Ik the issue is that age is being treated like an String and not an Integer.
I made a fork of your code an worked on it for an hour, REPL's lolcode VM isn't working correctly...
You inherently did nothing wrong in your code, the ITZ A NUMBR at the end of line 2 was the correct declaration of an INTEGER.

Why do you use repl?

Its really handy to be able to just access an IDE for pretty much any language without having to install anything.
Makes it easier to learn new languages.

@Highwayman Yeah, lol, except for when its true. I had a TI-84 plus CE for like three years and i was more addicted to coding on that then some people were addicted to there phones.

Adding a "cart" to a store website
posted to Ask by Brem17

If you need further clarification, reply and let me know.

Here is a basic guideline:
1) Create a div container with your products, each containing things like:

  • Product name, description, price, image of product
  • Buttons that will adjust quantity of a product, allow addition to the cart and deletion from cart as well as a checkout button.

2) Style and structure with CSS.

3) Using javascript, add functionality.

W3 has a lot of code examples for pretty much everything you are going to do with HTML, CSS and JS. They have all the individual parts explained in detail you need to complete your project if you are willing to look for them.

System.exit(0); will exit the program the correct way and it doesn't require any imports.

IDE console not working
posted to Ask by JiQoyNicholas

You need to put that code in the main.py that repl created, or call it from there.
The way they compile and run your code starts with the main.py file they create, you will need to call other files/functions from there, even if they have the same name.

so this is basically reddit...

Not even close. Its closer to Stack Overflow, if anything.

@superpeter In your main loop, which starts on line 16 to 31, you never call check_words therefore you don't get anything returned because its never called. :)

[JS] ES6 Import/Export Syntax Not Working

You have to import stuff using the package import tool (the cube on the far left side of any js repl). After that you can use the package as you normally would minus the import statement.

What does this error mean: this.value.codegen is not a function

@mwilki7 I tried that initially. It doesn't work :/

@Rileygamer21 No, i need the value to be a integer. Removing that causes the var to be treated like a string.
