@objectme12 Just stop. Seriously, if you didn't make it, don't try to take it as your own. Just because somebody got a lot of upvotes on a project they probably worked hard on, you don't need to take it down. End the argument and live with it! And no, posting something that says 'I have been scammed' on repl share is NOT called solving a problem. So please, sort out your problems.

@objectme12 I mean... unless you have some solid proof (I understand that you probably don't take screenshots of your repls everyday) I don't think you should blame @KobeFF. I'm sure there's something you're missing. Plus, the whole breakout room idea is pretty popular, so you both could have had the same idea.

My thoughts on the community
posted to Ask by ChezCoder

The worst part is, there's a lot of good replers out there too, but the stream is usually filled with random stuff. Most of these are first projects, which I respect, because I posted something similar on share a long time ago. Some people genuinely want feedback. What I don't get though, is why you would post a 2 line project on Repl.it and get multiple upvotes. Some posts are just expressing opinions, like one I saw today. I don't want to call out the person, but the title of the project and the content was near to nothing. This, to me, is just sad. Furthermore, popular replers can make games and have them take off in less than a day. This means that new users don't get a chance to display their projects, that they most likely worked hard on.

@adsarebbbad Oof, I didn't realize that; I took a look at @objectme12's code, and compared to his grammar on repl talk, it's... very different. Including the things that @Kookiez pointed out, this isn't a very evidence-supported argument.

@objectme12 Ok, THAT looks solid. Maybe try asking @KobeFF directly?

In a more simple way, this is what I mean: A quiz game, which decides choices in a character's life, i.e, wrong answers = bad decisions, correct answers = good decisions.

Repl idea
posted to Ask by userSM

Hi!
Here are some ideas I have that are a little too ambitious for me, but might be perfect for you!:

  1. Weather Helper - you enter the degrees outside, and the program tells you what to wear.

  2. Infinity digits of pi - self-explanatory

  3. A fun fact chart of all the states in a country - the user types in a state, and a few fun facts pop up.

  4. A simulator of a natural disaster, like a volcano or earthquake.

  5. Something themed off your favorite book or TV show; like if it was Harry Potter, maybe a flying game that makes characters fly through quidditch hoops.

  6. A quiz game, which decides choices in a character's life, i.e, wrong answers = bad decisions, correct answers = good decisions.
