'Aight! Welcome to the Repl.it Wilderness. Here you'll find giant bugs, massive robots, and a place to code. If you and your friends want to conquer this vast landscape, you should join the Achievement Hunting Club!
The Achievement Hunting Club, or AHC, is a group of people set on getting every achievement Repl.it has to offer. This might mean helping out hunting partners in Ask in a time of need, or suiting up and adding a profile picture to your bio!
For those unfamiliar with Repl.it Achievements, it's a new feature we're giving to our explorers, to keep track of certain tasks they've completed as they use Repl.it. You can find a list of our current achievements here.
How do you join the AHC? Simple! Just comment below how many achievements you currently have, and let your fellow AHC members know if you need help getting any! Be warned though, the AHC does not permit cheaters who create posts for the sake of getting achievements. Only honorable posts will be admitted.
With that said, get hunting! And once you've got an achievement (which you can view on your profile, once you have the explorer role) be sure to comment and let us know!
@firefish It's sad, I post a cellular automata simulator which took me so much work and it gets 8 upvotes, then I post a game which really wasn't that hard and I get 86 upvotes. I do like the repl community, but it really feels like there's a "set mold" of what a "successful" post is.
@ComputingSquid That's nothing, I literally made an operating system in Assembly + C that can run on actual hardware and it got 35 upvotes.....
A "python interpreter" got 80+ upvotes
print(eval(input())) Yeah, that's it. That's all it was.
If I made an actual parser and interpreter for py it would of gotten nowhere near.
oh yay! ok, so i will make a low-quality post with a low-quality repl, and say please upvote me. i will deletethe post afterwards.
and i will see how many people say, "No low quality posts and make a good repl', and how many people just upvote it.
not sure if it's a good idea.
i will, of course not keep the cycles, but i would like to see how people act on repl talk these days.
@RayhanADev Uh, at least it was one thread, I remember having 40 odd pings over 30 minutes, me trying to make a website meanwhile, all from like a trillion different people on this thread: https://repl.it/talk/share/I-feel-like-ChezTacoz-and-ChezCoder-ar/41371/191736
(bear in mind my name was still @johnstev111 back then)
Pretty sure i already got 'em all.
Can't see an achievement for unlisting posts or resolving reports.....
