How do you split the view in the repl.it UI?
reagentx (0)

Sometimes the image I save in this repl goes into its own window so I can see it update when the image changes; same with the csv file. However this is not always the case and there does not seem to be a repeatable way to trigger it.

Edit: there is an example of what this looks like in this blog post: https://repl.it/site/blog/ide

Hey, what exactly do you mean by 'go into its own' window? Do you mean it opens a new chrome window to display the image?

@MATTHEWBECHTEL Provided a pretty good solution, but you can also manually instigate screen-splitting by pressing Ctrl+Alt while clicking and dragging some UI element on the screen. That's on Windows, might be different on a Macintosh. :)

I am on mobile so that wouldn’t work for me. @eankeen

This does not work on Windows or MacOS

I think it is triggered when an image is either uploaded or changed. Although I'm not really sure. I had thought they removed that feature.

Thats what happened the first time I ran my code, but I can't replicate the functionality.
