AzureScripts (151)

I feel like it's possible, but how would i make one?
And would it work if i made a webserver on my localhost for my script to access with

my.ip:port/database.env

Hey, haven't you already made such a login system? What do you want to change in it?

AzureScripts (151)

@JustARatherRidi The one i used before was just with the hashes on a website, but is it possible to store it on a webserver which can't be accessed by anyone else except for the script and me?

@AzureScripts Absolutely! This is exactly what I explained here in this question, so maybe give that a read once more. If there's something else you want answered, feel free to ask.

Have you thought about how you're going to handle authentication? Are you going to authenticate with your local database using something like OAuth or using an external auth provider like Google, Facebook, etc. or both?

AzureScripts (151)

@heyitsmarcus Not really... the most i'm doing is just creating hashes and seeing if those hashes are in the database, if they are, they go in.

@AzureScripts What language are you using?

@AzureScripts I found this article that may help you out. I haven't set up anything like this, but it looks promising: https://pythonspot.com/login-authentication-with-flask/

@heyitsmarcus Hasn't really helped that much...
