Previous and next

Statement
Write a program that reads an integer number and prints its previous and next numbers. See the examples below for the exact format your answers should take. There shouldn't be a space before the period.
Remember that you can convert the numbers to strings using the function str.

Assuming that the code is in python, this would be your answer:

The code is simple. You just have to take a variable and return the number 1 above it and the number 1 below it. The final code would look like this:

num = int(input())
print('The next number for the number ' + str(num) + ' is ' + str(num + 1) + '.')
print('The previous number for the number ' + str(num) + ' is ' + str(num - 1) + '.')

@vedprad1 I gave the same code but,

TypeError: can only concatenate str (not "int") to str

@MdAlAminAlAmin : You have to wrap all of the number variables in an str function, like this:

str(num)
