Repl basic layout
rodagr (0)

By accident I have hit a wrong key or swiped my mouse but my Repl desktop is a mess. I cannot get it back to the Repl default layout. Because of this I am unable to do any of my course challenges. Please can anybody help. I am using a PC.

Hi everybody. Thank you for your solutions. I know how to use the settings. I had not stated my problem clear enough. When I started, I had 3 separate areas on my work area. On the right was a work area that showed the data of the challenge that my tutor had set. On the left the area was spilt horizontally into two areas, white at the top, black at the bottom. Basically, I have lost the area on the right that showed the data for the challenge. Unfortunately, the course I am on as been running for a couple of years or more and you no longer get direct help from the tutor.

@rodagr Hi Rodr,
Maybe it's looking like this there:-

Don't worry.

Here is the step-by-step tutorial on how to change your layout:-
1. Click that Settings button

  1. You will see a Layout Option

  2. Click that small arrow after that.

  3. Change it to whatever you want

That's it
Thanks!

Hope this helps

I’m moving this to ask.

On your repl, click on the Settings on the vertical bar.

Then you will see the Layout part, change the layout as you like and that's it!

If you still can't fix the problem, this maybe a error or bug in the IDE. Report it on the repl.it bug report: https://repl.it/bugs

Have a nice day!

Edit: Also, set this post at Ask tag. Your post is a question, not a tutorial.

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros WoW,
You can tell the OS with only just a hint.
Guess this:-

CodeLongAndPros (1537)

@PattanAhmed Linux mint, probably one version behind, using Firefox with little config. You're on a laptop.

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros Excellent guess...

probably one version behind,

This was wrong, btw

Using Linux Mint 20 Tricia with an up-to-date system.

CodeLongAndPros (1537)

@PattanAhmed Eh I don't use mint. Gimme a break.

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros Yeah, I know you use Arch
No problem, You can take a break anytime. :)

CodeLongAndPros (1537)

@PattanAhmed It's that I don't know the diffs of mint.

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros Users know better than guessers.
I think.

Pretty weird quote

CodeLongAndPros (1537)

@PattanAhmed I mean I can send a screen grab but I doubt you can guess it, let's see how you do...

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros I can't!
I can't guess OS, but I can easily guess Mint and Ubuntu.

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros Is that Arch, Manjaro, Kali Linux, Endless, SuSe?

Something from the above.

I can't guess but I think it's Arch as you have mentioned before.

CodeLongAndPros (1537)

@PattanAhmed It's arch, btw, with i3-gaps and SDDM

PattanAhmed (1367)

@CodeLongAndPros Good.
I got to know the look of Arch.
LoL!

@DangHoang2 Wow, I don't know that my Manjaro that I just installed yesterday got attention!

Here's how it's look like now (if you are curious):
