Review My Portfolio Website (Beta)
EthanJustice (65)

I have tried and tried again to make a portfolio website I actually enjoy (see my history). However, I have finally built one that I liked enough to make mobile-responsive, and want some feedback for things to do better, and your thoughts and feedback. The site is not finished, however, I plan to work on it in the coming days and weeks.

I think you are missing some wow.js

@a5rocks Though also, mind offering a dark theme?

@a5rocks that's part of it that I haven't gotten to yet, but I will definitely add it. Thanks for the compliment as well!

@TristanMisja Maybe try making the fonts bigger, and enlarge the "Contact" Icons. Also add a few thing to home, like "Hey! I'm Ethan Justice, or [REAL NAME HERE]! This is a website I designed so you can follow along with my projects! [other stuff other stuff other stuff other stuff]". Apart from that, great job!

P.S. the home page is cool! You used JavaScript for the E-J, I'm guessing?

@TristanMisja No, it's actually a CSS animation. This is a really old version, the newest version is here and the source code is here. Thanks for the feedback though!

"Please turn your device to landscape orientation" 👏👏👏

@mkhoi A little fun fact is that if you pick up your monitor and turn it 90° you can test your site's mobile compatibility.

@mkhoi Too lazy to develop for portrait right now lol.

Wow! I love the uniqueness of the "EJ" transforming into your name! I would recommend making the "E" and the "J" a slightly darker grey, before you start hovering over them. And maybe make the color transition a bit quicker.

I like the green color effect when you hover over a navigational item. If you can, I would make the text and font smaller for desktop monitors, and possibly remove jQuery. :)

@eankeen OK, thanks for the feedback!
