The Number in Parentheses
vedprad1 (887)

After our username, there is a number in parentheses. What does that number represent?

@vedprad1 :The number in parentheses represents the number of upvotes we have got on the posts we have posted on repl talk including our comments.
e.g.: As your this question has got 3 upvotes in which 1 upvote is yours so you got 2 more no. of upvotes.

yes @spybrave and @Lumpy_Wiggles you are completely right! Do you guys have any suggestions how we can improve it and make it better? I'm open to all of your suggestions 🙏🏼

amasad (3047)

@hayaodeh it should be introduced somewhere

hayaodeh (193)

@amasad yes I agree with you, it should say cycles on hover and when clicking on it, it should direct to what cycles are and what it means.

spybrave (336)

@hayaodeh When we put our cursor on that it may say that these are ''repl points'' which you gain when other users upvote ur posts or comments....and for first time only it will pop up that info which we can set as remind me later or never pop this thing again:p

hayaodeh (193)

@spybrave Do you like the name repl points more than cycles?

spybrave (336)

@hayaodeh :) I think so but who i am to say :p

spybrave (336)

@hayaodeh HAHA!! NOW IT SHOWS 'cycles' :p

hayaodeh (193)

@spybrave you can always express your opinion in Repl.it and you're talking to the right person about it 😎

spybrave (336)

@hayaodeh Well at least it now says upvote to upvote :)

hayaodeh (193)

@spybrave yeh, we listen to what everyone suggests and try to fix things around 😬

Lumpy_Wiggles (89)

I think that's our cycles? I don't fully know.

octopyBot (264)

@spybrave so people should see my repls and upvote them and that gives me more numbers? for example, you have 349 upvotes on comments and repls?
