Using Mozilla on an iPad (with Clojure)
tyohDeveloper (3)

Nothing seems to be working as expected.

I would like to use the standard browser keyboard. E.g. left/right/up/down keys. Using shift to select text. Basically everything that is normal in any other application. I can’t seem to make anything work.

Clojure isn’t accepting ‘ or “. It ignores both quotes, trying to use the text as symbols or just printing an exception.

Do I have to do something more than “New Repl” to make things work. Do I need a particular browser? Basically, “A little help?”

yea so you need to disable "smart quotes" for quotes to work. should be in Settings>General>Keyboard

@theangryepicbanana I presume that you're writing about the iPad Settings app. I can't find any settings (non UI) for Here is a picture of my settings. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

@theangryepicbanana Never mind, I had to delete every single and full quote to clean things up. The code above now produces the class cast exception after running the code. I don't see anything that would be a symbol. Do you have a clue?

@tyohDeveloper I told you the path you need to go in settings to change it
