With Nodejs, you are using javascript for both front and back ends, making it much easier to keep track of. Also, Nodejs is the most popular when it comes to serverside systems since it is natively event-driven.

@Vandesm14 But whats wrong with using python flask?

Vandesm14 (2219)

@JordanDixon1 It's just that python is known to be a sort of "beginner language" (so the public opinion is skewed already) and python is a slow language, making it the second or third choice for a web server framework.

@Vandesm14 I'm more comfortable with python though because it just makes more sense in my opinion. As long as it has the same abilities then i'm fine with using it.

@JordanDixon1 To be quite honest, there's no point in comparing languages. They have their specific purpose and more. There are times where it does matter, like in a high-production high-efficiency environment. But for simple repl.it projects you needn't worry about which language to use as they are essentially the same thing when it comes to performing a task correctly.

@Vandesm14 Ok. Thank you. I just noticed that cool things like repl mail, repl chat, etc. Have been made in node.js and nothing is really made with python flask. :(

Vandesm14 (2219)

@JordanDixon1 That's just that the python community on repl.it is mostly beginners/novices, so there aren't gonna be major services made with it.

@Vandesm14 Right. Ok thanks. I'll mark your response as the answer.

@JordanDixon1 You can look at @mat1 projects and you will see that he is doing cool things with python ;)
