Visually Pleasing Music Writer (With Turtle Graphics)
AbirHaque (16)

Hello!

This project was done independently. The programming language used was Python, with Turtle graphics utilized. My project draws a very simple measure of music for you. I will be sanding down some fine points of this project until the deadline if that's okay. If not, then I'm perfectly content with submitting this is my final submission!

Please give me feedback for this project! This is my first time posting on repl.it :D

I am aesthetically pleased

F E?

On the upper right of the music score, at the end, there's a big white area. Bug? You should add the treble clef too.

AbirHaque (16)

@ebest Thanks for letting me know about that! I've never seen that white area before when testing. Also, I'll try and add a treble clef staff and multiple measures.

AbirHaque (16)

@ebest White area fixed! Again, thank you for pointing that out for me!

@AbirHaque Hey do you know what tracer is (for turtle)

And what if you added a secret message with the notes

AbirHaque (16)

@ebest I'm very new with Turtle, so I don't know what tracer is. I'm going to look it up now. But yeah, a secret message would sound cool, I think I'll also try that!

ebest (574)

@AbirHaque

turtle.tracer(0, 0)
turtle.forward(50)
turtle.refresh()

means that the turtle will be at the start, disappear and reappear at the end. Screen refreshes are normally every millisecond or something. turtle.tracer stops the refreshes until turtle.refresh.

@AbirHaque That's a great neural network you have there! I'd never be able to make that!

AbirHaque (16)

@ebest Lol its the best. It's the next step to solving everything you could possibly think of!

ebest (574)

@AbirHaque The only problem is that you need to add a neural network. But other then that, it's extraordinary!

AbirHaque (16)

@ebest You just gotta use your imagination and do the learning for the neural network, then boom you're set!

ebest (574)

@AbirHaque Well, there's one more step: plug your brain in to the computer, input the information you want to learn (into yourself), and learn!

AbirHaque (16)

@ebest lol we get from turtle to this

ebest (574)

@AbirHaque Doesn't turtle have a neural network too? It's just like the one you are making!

ebest (574)

@AbirHaque can you start a multiplayer session? you asked for help?

@Adirhaque @ebest lol im just reading ur thread. Also you can use matplotlib to graph out neural network points which can be handy. Doesn't work on repl unfortunately.

ebest (574)

@_Sniper_Turtle_ I was trying it out a while ago. It could be. yep, repl.it is annoying sometimes.

@ebest I actually sent them a letter saying that one f the things I think should be a priority for them is adding a 'result screen' in python so pygame and pycharm and stuff don't need to be seperate
