Well, I am sorry that I am posting non-programming stuff on repl.it, but I am tech-savvy.

The image is not something funny like a jpeg or png.

Now, here is the tutorial:

fallocate -l 1474560 myimage.vfd

head -c 1474560 /dev/zero > myimage.vfd

fsutil file createnew myimage.vfd 1474560

You'll have an empty "1.44 MB" image. Attach it to VirtualBox and format through "My Computer" in the guest.

Linux:

mkfs.vfat myimage.vfd
sudo mount -o loop myimage.vfd /mnt
...
sudo umount /mnt

Windows:

vfd open 0: myimage.vfd
vfd format 0:
...
vfd close 0:

Windows, create, format and mount in one command:

vfd open 0: myimage.vfd /new /1.44

Instead of catting or fallocating, you can just do:

mkfs.msdos -C /path/imagefile.img 1440

If you can't create them just download them at https://github.com/Ganesha2282882/Floppies @CodeLongAndPros. Tip: In Chrome OS just press Ctrl Alt T and it will open crosh. Crosh is a terminal.

I'm just saying you can get a FAT on it and make in one fell swoop.

@CodeLongAndPros Yeah. I think it's called Crosh back in 2018 or something like that or It's developer mode specific.

Crosh has NO UNIX commands.

It is a debug shell.

For networking and such.

Do you have a chromebook?

There's not even a filesystem in Crosh.
