🎉 3,000 Cycles: PYER.ME 🎉
PYer (3294)

Hello everybody! I've recently hit 3,000 cycles! Hooray! Thanks to everyone in the repl.it community! In the past three years, I've been coding a lot on this webiste, and it's probably my most commonly used site (other than google products). I'd like to thank the following people, for the all the upvotes: @bonnym512, @Pythonier, @Atari7, @gantr833, @DUN0040, @mkhoi, @Vandesm14, @amaanrehman14, and @FunnyLamma. Thanks for all the support everybody! This is my first "Cycle Special/Milestone", and now, I'm proud to introduce pyer.me. I've realized that most major developers on repl.it have personal websites, so here comes mine: http://www.pyer.me. This is going to be a personal website, and it currently contains some of my tutorials and projects. I'm going to continue adding some major updates to this soon. Specifically for the development of this project, I'd like to thank @Coder100 for all the help and feedback. If you have any suggestions, please comment! Thank you, and have a nice day!

DynamicSquid (2673)

Congrats! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love the website!

Oh, and...

I have 1 more reputation that you on Stack Overflow :)

PYer (3294)

Thanks, and I'm not that active on StackOverflow. @DynamicSquid

DynamicSquid (2673)

@PYer oh, I wasn't joking about that one cycle thing, but just thought that it was cool to point out that we are different by one cycle. didn't mean to brag or anything

PowerCoder (590)

This is cool. Good job! But, you should include a bio.

PYer (3294)

Where? My bio on most websites is just "Coder Extraordiare" @PowerCoder

PowerCoder (590)

@PYer Could you add a little more?

Bookie0 (3285)

It’s great! I like the colors!

AmazingMech2418 (693)

Nice! Now, you should add an icon! (add an image file named "favicon.ico", "favicon.png", or "favicon.jpg" depending on the image type and then add a link tag with rel="icon").

CodeLongAndPros (963)

@AmazingMech2418 You can just place it in the root.

PYer (3294)

Oh yah! I added one before, but I was planning to change it. I'll get back to it in a few days. @AmazingMech2418

Rovy (10)

love it so coool

PYer (3294)

thanks! @Rovy any suggestions?

Rovy (10)

no just saying I flunked the test of how well do you know repl.it. is there any skip button to skip a question? @PYer

PYer (3294)

rediar (318)

PYer (3294)

PYer (3294)

Thanks, @Pythonier! Any feedback/suggestions?

mo2409 (14)

IDK much about HTML but, ngl it looks cool.

Programmer567 (46)

The fact that the website custom domain is unblocked is great!
(p.s.im on a school chromebook)

I've just got 1 question.
What the heck is a cycle?

thenullified (144)

[deleted]

@awesome10 lol, I was just putting those things up(not trying to be perfect)

[deleted]

@awesome10 And can you give me an idea of what to code? I'm bored.

awesome10 (212)

@blackjkl text adventure or an animation i guess? im doing a text adventure

[deleted]

@awesome10 I gonna do an animation. Thanks!

CodingAndMemes (28)

for the hover over catgory-element I recommend adding transition-timing-function: ease-in-out;

PYer (3294)

Thank you! Any suggestions? @Warhawk947

Warhawk947 (524)

@PYer I would suggest adding a transition for the buttons when your mouse leaves the button, like you already have one for when the mouse touches the button (which is really cool!), but it would be really nice if you added a animation where the button goes back to it's original state

and no problem xD

PYer (3294)

I tried that, but the only problem is that the background reverts to its original position, and the text slowly moves back. This doesn't create an ideal animation, and makes it hard to read. If you know how to add a delay to the background (because you can't animate it), I would. I tried, but background-images can't be animated. @Warhawk947

I tried, I tried. The site just strikes me as a light theme. I'm working on one. @JacksonCowie

DUN0040 (3)

Amazing! You are great at what you do! Love the website!

PYer (3294)

Thanks you so much! @DUN0040
