I built the Brute Force Password Cracker as a fun program to test out passwords, and to test my knowledge of Python 3 and its libraries.

This is awesome! It's really nice to know that my password isn't very easy to crack!

@jellybro: this doesn't crack passwords. It would take a lot longer than a few minutes. I would be impressed with 1,000 guesses a sec. This doesn't do that

@hakxy: Nah, it does more like 1,000,000 guesses a sec

@silversapprentice: yes because it doesn't crack passwords. it guesses what you input. in reality you would input a encrypted password
eg: 15474d8018c2bce49437bd5b2edc42b5
and how you go about cracking that would be the program would guess a password. the password would get encrypted and if the encryptions match then it knows the password. It would take weeks to crack a normal all lowercase 8 character password.
