@ObiVibKenobi That's the prank. If you hit ok it opens infinite tabs of a webpage that says that a virus infiltrated your system. There is no real virus. You can't download a virus by clicking a link.

This does not work on any browser with proper popup protection. (Firefox prevents popup windows from showing unless specifically allowed by the user.)
It will slow down the tab for a short time until Firefox displays a message that the webpage attempted to open more than 100 popups.
No significant damage or harm.

I just wanna tell people you cannot get a virus by clicking on a link (i feel like this is a good place to say this) you actually have to download the file and execute it
. Now in the past there have been 0day exploits that have allowed attackers to automatically download and execute something on the clients computer but have since been patched. (also those of us who use linux don't have to worry much about that 😎)
