Deploying GitHub Repos onto repl.it
tra38 (7)

I like using repl.it to easily share small scripts over to other people. But what if you want to share a whole code repository that is hosted on GitHub? What do you do?

Well, you write a deployment script on repl.it that downloads the latest version of the codebase from the GitHub repository, install all dependencies, and then run the code. That's what you do.

Here's a blog post I wrote that details how I did that: https://tra38.github.io/blog/deploying-github-repos-onto-repl-it.html

It's not quite a tutorial, since all it does is tell you the weird stuff I had to do to get this to work, but it should be fairly easy to learn from it (in case you have to do something like this).

Oh man, thanks for writing this up. We're also working on some kind of github integration as well. :)
