Bookie0 (3618)

Hello dear fellow human being who happens to read these words!

This repl contains 10 different cool Loading SCreens. When prompted, enter the numbers from 1 to 10 (inclusive), and you’ll have one of the Loading SCreens.

Feel free to copy and use these Loading SCreens in your own animations, games, repls.... There are also different colors you can have, and also different speeds they play at, and you can tinker with them all you want!

I hope you like them, any comments suggestions or tips are always appreciated =)

Have a wonderful day!

By the way copy paste exists @DamienKilduff

DamienKilduff (19)

@Bookie0 uhmmmmmmmmm...we don't talk about that...

thenullified (148)

i was making some loading screens for myself(based of some of yours) and i realised i have a qn for you. where did you get the text for loading screen 1?

Bookie0 (3618)

I got that text from a sort of ascii website, I can’t remember what is was. Feel free to copy it if you need it (and you can credit me if you want...) :) @starblazer

MarblesAndMore (51)

Number 5 is really cool, in fact they all look cool

MarblesAndMore (51)

I am not good enough to be able to do that! So it is really impressive

ZDev1 (452)

@Bookie0 SOME PERSONAL REASONS!

Bookie0 (3618)

Because ur typing in full caps @ZDev1

ZDev1 (452)

[Even after just 8 of those I get tired of typing, how do you do many loadings though :()] BTW the reason why I replaced the stars with "•"'s is because the stars weren't showing up.

BobTheTomatoPie (1065)

The first one is my favorite, great btw!!

ZDev1 (452)

how to make your prof pic with rainbow bg?

studentAlfredAl (464)

There was a repl that was recently posted which changes it for you. Here's the link: https://repl.it/talk/share/PRIDE-MONTH/39976 @ZDev1

Coder100 (6236)

Did you use my pride day generator?

The answer should be yes please say yes!!!

awesome10 (217)

awesome10 (217)

Bookie0 (3618)

Sure if you want. You can credit me if you wish! :) @awesome10

Bookie0 (3618)

Lol also thanks for letting me use ur loading thing! @DynamicSquid

thenullified (148)

this is the best loading screens i have ever seen.
edit: suggests new loading screen
import art
import sys
from time import sleep
from os import system
clear = lambda: system('clear')
def typing(w):
for i in w:
sleep(0.04)
sys.stdout.write(i)
sys.stdout.flush()

art.aprint('loading1')
sleep(0.5)
clear()
art.aprint('loading2')
sleep(0.5)
clear()
art.aprint('loading3')
sleep(0.5)
clear()
art.aprint('loading4')
sleep(0.5)
clear()
art.aprint('loading5')
sleep(0.5)
clear()
art.aprint('loading6')
typing(f' Complete!')

thenullified (148)

neater version:
import art
import sys
from time import sleep
from os import system
clear = lambda: system('clear')
def typing(w):
for i in w:
sleep(0.04)
sys.stdout.write(i)
sys.stdout.flush()
for i in range(7):
if i != 6:
i = str(i)
art.aprint(f'loading{i}')
print('loading...')
sleep(1)
clear()
else:
art.aprint('loading6')
print(' done!')
@Bookie0

Bookie0 (3618)

Ok, so it just puts all the different loadings into one? Cool @starblazer

Cookiezz (65)

XD #4 is hilarious
Also, I have another one:

import sys, os
from time import sleep

def cls():
  os.system('cls' if os.name=='nt' else 'clear')

loading = "..."

def load():
  for i in range(5):

    for x in loading:
        print(x, end='')
        sys.stdout.flush()
        sleep(0.5)
    cls()
    sleep(0.2)

load()
Cookiezz (65)

@Bookie0 😊 Feel free to use it!

Bookie0 (3618)

Thanks, I’ll see when I have time to implement it: :) @Cookiezz

Cookiezz (65)

@Bookie0 I have another one. 😄 It's a pretty standard spinning load thing.

Bookie0 (3618)

Thanks for the suggestion! @Cookiezz

coderash (277)

Awesome, is there any way for number 3 to be on 1 line so it changes that 1 line and doesn't scroll?

Bookie0 (3618)

No, I don’t know anyway, sorry,

But thanks anyways! @coderash

Thecrowbar1234 (146)

@Bookie0 theres a special char called the backspace. you type it in as so: \b

ChezCoder (1500)

@Bookie0 @coderash yes, there is a way, using control chars:

import time

def load():
    for i in range(100):
         print(i)
         time.sleep(0.1)
         print("\033[F\033[F\033[K")

:D

coderash (277)

@ChezCoder Thank you! i will implement this into my future projects !
