Hi, guys so I just made a fully functioning social media app with loads of functionality. It took me a long time to make.
There are loads of stuff you can do like a forum - asking questions, history, search bar, favs, breadcrumbs, all users, images, blog posts, music, videos, comments, delete, edit, and many more. If there is nothing in all images, and anything, it means that it is empty. if people start uploading stuff, then it will give them. For now, everything is empty!
Upvotes would be appreciated. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
Hi @RYANTARYANTADIPARTHI dude, well i had one issue here. You seem to be knowing some things so wanted to ask that i'm making a code for sending mails where i would want to get user an input for entering their email ids.
But here on repl, not able to enter "@" sign for emails. what shall i do ?
Could you suggest me something ?
@PushkarShingte , so based on what i know about email sending in django, you probably have to use js for that. You know, like to generate those kind of usernames. so just link the js file to your normal django template, and then add a event listener to your email input variable. Hope that helps. :)
@RYANTADIPARTHI Actually, I'm coding that in python tkinter using smtplib module. And one more problem is that I haven't learnt JS, so I wouldn't be able to code anything in JS 😅.
Thank you though
But is there any other way or any thing to declare in the code here in repl so that it allows user to add the '@' sign ?
@PushkarShingte well, i haven't learnt tkinter... but maybe if there are if statements in there, you can put an if statement like if someone is logged in, add a @ to their name... But I'm sorry, because I couldn't tell you properly. I don't know tkinter. I would tell you if I knew...
