I built the Brute Force Password Cracker as a fun program to test out passwords, and to test my knowledge of Python 3 and its libraries.

I really don't understand why this is so upvoted, your code is incredibly inefficient, you could be using the strings module, and regex, to check the password and create a list to compare, so many issues, please, check with a dev on this.

@21natzil: Yeah, I agree. It's very spaghetti-y and too much is hard-coded.

@21natzil: I'm not entirely sure I understand why my code is "incredibly inefficient". You mention that this has "so many issues". Can you try making one of these with the methods that you think would be best and then send me the link?

@microwither: I'm not going to go into too much detail, as there is so much that could be improved. However, my first suggestion is to replace your blocks of "ABCDE..." and such with pre-made ones from the 'string' module, that comes with python. In addition to that, you can use the 're' (regex) module that comes with python, to check if certain characters are inside a string.

@21natzil: I agree, people using this site don't know good code and that is why it has so many upvotes.
