Yeah, it is kinda buggy. It's beta version of Kotlin though, we always have to keep that in mind. My program says I missed all of the opening and closing curly brackets, but I didn't. I even went to my IDE that supports Kotlin/Java and pasted my code there and it compiled fine. I think repl will support a better compiler for the language once it finally takes off, which it has, but just not majorly. It is still slow going to become a very good, and powerful, programming language

val delorean: Int = 123
println(delorean)

without the fun myFn() {...} works

I tried calling it as:
fun main() { myFn() }

it ran but no success in the println :(

i even tried
fun myFn() {
val delorean: Int = 123
println("$delorean")
}

no dice :(
