LITTLE MAN COMPUTER EMULATOR - V1.1!
h
rafrafraf (306)

all 9 instructions are working fully.

instant mode, auto play and dark/light mode all work fully too!!

i made my own assembly code editor too from scratch!

as an improvement to the original i will also be making a fully functional console which will allow you to use the emulator line by line.

hope you guys like it!

let me know what you think below

I'm always amazed on what JS can do... or... I'm always amazed on what good coders can do with JS

rafrafraf (306)

@DynamicSquid Thanks so much bro, i only got into JS properly a few months ago so i appreciate the complement aha

DynamicSquid (4400)

@rafrafraf dude you're doing great! keep it up!

rafrafraf (306)

@DynamicSquid thanks and will do! i still have quite a bit to do with this project and im in the middle of another site too so got my hands full for a while aha

Latorious (1)

This is really fascinating and fun to play with but confusing for my primitive brain tho lol!

rafrafraf (306)

@Latorious thanks so much dude! If youre interested in it thrn you should watch some little man computer tutorials on youtube, you can learn some assembly code and try it on my site if you like

This cool! how does it work though?

rafrafraf (306)

@blackjkl thanks :) its not working right now if thats what you mean, im making a huge update where im making my own code editor from scratch

[deleted]

@rafrafraf ok! thanks! I also making code editor.

rafrafraf (306)

@blackjkl mine isnt that great but ive spent the past 11 hours working on it with 1 break aha

[deleted]

ok. @rafrafraf i haven't started yet because i dunno what style it should be

rafrafraf (306)

@blackjkl im quite inspired by repls' design, maybe you can start there

[deleted]

ok, @rafrafraf thanks!

@10mohammed10 the LMC is the idea that CPUs work by a little man inside them fetching decoding and executing instructions one at a time, theres plenty of guides on youtube on how the LMC works and assembly code tutorials

CodeLongAndPros (1473)

Nice project, but can you make the CPU instructions faster? It's like 20 seconds per instruction.

rafrafraf (306)

@CodeLongAndPros im working on instant mode which when activated will skip all data blob animations. I will also increase the speed of the blobs :)

rafrafraf (306)

@CodeLongAndPros also it shouldnt be that slow when you max the speed slider 🤔

CodeLongAndPros (1473)

Btw, typo in ASSEMBLEY, should be ASSEMBLY
