I just put this on here so my friends could play it without being in person but you can too, if you want
Wow! This is amazing! How did you get the button at the end (when you win the game).
Whenever you play the mini game for hunting, you always get the same questions with the same answers. You might want to consider randomizing this, too.
Noice mate... ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Oregon Trail, this is pretty cool. Like what you did.
@EmmaHochron Just a project a teacher and I are working on just started it but though it would be fun to share: https://repl.it/@soldier76/Fallout-Console-Edition (yes there are some things i need to fix but its a work in progress.)
@soldier76 hi! I just looked at your project, and it's super cool! I can't wait for the finished version! One thing: I tried to press 'enter' to end the game, but I got an error message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "main.py", line 138, in <module>
File "main.py", line 115, in main
travel = int(input("Enter a number or hit 'enter' to end the game:"))
ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: ''
One way to fix this, if setting it to an integer is handy, is to remove the int() function around the input, and instead put a condition, like:
travel = input("Enter a number or hit 'enter' to end the game:")
if travel != '':
travel = int(travel)
You probably knew this already, but I just wanted to mention it! I really like the game so far and would love to play more! (I spent like 10 minutes putting obscenely large numbers into the terminal to see what items I got, so pretty entertaining for me!)
