REPL OS

I AM NOT SHARING A PROJECT

This is an announcement project for me kinda

I didn't know where to post this, so I'm going to post this here. Ignore the repl. I have decided, with my poor knowledge of c++, c and no assembly x86 knowledge, I am going to make a REPL OS. @V3rmillionNet asked when are we going to make one, so I have decided to make one. If anybody wants to help, they can ask for a multiplayer join in the comments

I know you guys are capable of lot of things but this is takig things way too far (0_0)

Anyways i'd love to see it working!

TaylorLiang (599)

@V3rmillionNet Right now, there's only basic shell commands. I'm thinking of adding in its own custom coding language, and a word editor.

V3rmillionNet (53)

So much from a suggestion,
i guess all of you guys are this hardworking. I think a shell based OS works best with the community rather thn improvised graphics @TaylorLiang

TaylorLiang (599)

@V3rmillionNet thats what i was planning from the beginning, as im too lazy to be making graphics

eekboi (56)

I heard youre making it in three languages. can you make it in python as well bc i want to contribute. if you cant i understand.

TaylorLiang (599)

@eekboi uuuuuuh...
ok, its not made on REPL.IT, as that would be impossible (they use linux, and I would have to install the os every single time I made a change). Its using C# and COSMOS. If you want to help, you could try learning those languages. You could then install vs2019, and I could then host a live share session.

I am planning to add python support though

eekboi (56)

@TaylorLiang unfortunately im using repl on a laptop that counts as a phone so, gotta miss ya on that one chief

TaylorLiang (599)

@eekboi O O F. You could still learn C#, as Im going to be developing the segments of the code here.

eekboi (56)

@TaylorLiang ive always wanted to learn c#

TaylorLiang (599)

@eekboi well its a lot like c++/c in some ways

SixBeeps (990)

Are you building it on those three languages?

TaylorLiang (599)

@SixBeeps im going to try. If it gets to difficult, ill just use cosmos and c#
