I just saw this in facebook. I’m already a professional (it seems this is not just for students right?) and I have a music themed software that I am interested to develop. So I’m thinking to register the first bits of this software in this competition.
@katyadee can we use music from our own iTunes Library that we purchased from the iTunes Music Store in our entry project? My idea is basically a custom remake of the Spotify app but written in React + Material UI and I need a ton of Audio MP3 sources for it.
Also, are we allowed to use MongoDB or Passport or Firebase in our project entry for User Auth purposes for user account login and personalized library backup?
Would a hardware project (would use electrodes and software repo will be on repl) qualify for this or does it need to have software only?
@katyadee Is it alright to make a desktop app, post it on Dropbox, then create small website on repl.it with the Dropbox link for others to download. I would provide all the code for the app in repl.it project where the website is located too, but it won't actually be used by the website.
