this is spam. Literally anybody can make this when they learn the basics of python

Thecrowbar1234 (56)

@TaylorLiang Yeah, this is very simple python code that most people who do python would know.

Thecrowbar1234 (56)

I'll give this person a chance. I've seen the projects this person made, and by the looks of it, he still is learning python.

Thecrowbar1234 (56)

But don't do this again, this is something that most people already know, and is not anything productive.

MadelineSalafsk (5)

@Thecrowbar1234 assuming it's a guy WOOOOOOWWWWW

TandaraRose (11)

It is rude to assume that all coders are guys.So please change the way that you refer to people. Thanks! @Thecrowbar1234

TandaraRose (11)

well just don't call people "guy" becasue you dont know what gender they are @Thecrowbar1234

Thecrowbar1234 (56)

@TandaraRose I formally apologize for my rudeness. Do you want me to just change the guy part into person?

Thecrowbar1234 (56)

And I was giving you a chance!

TandaraRose (11)

yes. thanks! you can also say they or them. @Thecrowbar1234

TaylorLiang (593)

@MadelineSalafsk omg, I got offended by something that shouldn't bother me. There gender pronouns, theres no need to get offended over them

AtriDey (28)

@Thecrowbar1234 Still, they should know not to spam. I'm a novice at both C++ and Python and I don't spam. Although there is the possibility that they didn't know, in which case they hopefully learned.

AtriDey (28)

@MadelineSalafsk Overreaction to misuse of pronouns. Using "they" is grammatically wrong in many cases. This is a coding forum, not a debate on sexism. We're here to help each other learn, not start useless arguments.

TandaraRose (11)

and that is exactly why people should stop commenting "this is spam" and "this is horrible" there is no need to hate. Like you said, we are here to help each other [email protected]

TandaraRose (11)

By the way you are contradicting yourself. You commented "this is actual spam" but you say we are here to help each other learn. So, stop hating on my code. @AtriDey

AtriDey (28)

@TandaraRose Here comes the useless arguments again. By increasing the presence of spam complaints, I increase awareness of the problem, which is unrelated. By bringing up the purpose of the forum, I'm trying to cool off an argument about an unrelated controversy. Redditors have experience with these things.

And I'm not hating on your code, I just have problems with karma on spam posts. I admit there's some Reddit salt there, but hate isn't my point.

Now hopefully the arguments will come to an end.

MadelineSalafsk (5)

@AtriDey if it's not a place to start useless arguments why are you doing that by bringing this up again, I agree that we can now end this conversation.

AtriDey (28)

@MadelineSalafsk If it's over, then I'll gladly leave.

AtriDey (28)

@TandaraRose OK. Although before I go, I want to add that following up on my comment was exactly what @MadelineSalafsk was telling me not to do.

TandaraRose (11)

please stop spam commenting on my post. @AtriDey

TaylorLiang (593)

@TandaraRose oh my god please stop commenting your clogging my notifications
