Dev-Friendly Image Editor
3941driB (36)

I'm happy to annouce that I'm finally done with the first version of dimg, my dev-friendly image editor. I started it as a pixel art maker because nothing currently on the internet fit my needs, but now I'm happy to share it with the community. The interface is meant to look a bit like a *NIX shell. Enjoy!

~The API-phobic dev 3941driB 😅

P.S. there's a help command, and also the save command doesn't work when embedded in an iframe, you have to open dimg.3941drib.repl.co in a new tab.

@CodeLongAndPros wtf do you mean "Ew mac" mac is obviously the best choice for a computer ever it's powerful portable and secure and windows os sucks takes deep breath I'm done now.

Mac OS X is based on *NIX so Unix gang :)

CodeLongAndPros (1377)

@JudeAustin1 Powerful? Perhaps. It does use Bsd. Portable? No. Secure? Kinda.
I agree, though: Windows sucks.

I use arch btw

Man, you are still so old-school. Mac is the future. @CodeLongAndPros

CodeLongAndPros (1377)

@JosephSanthosh Ok, name one thing Mac can do that Linux can’t —excepting Adobe—
Linux, first of all, can boot from power to login in less than 6 seconds. You can also totally customize your system. Wanna change the way your windows look? In Linux/Kde, it’s right in the settings. Mac doesn’t even come with a package manager. And, it costs a small fortune to get it. $1000 for a STAND? Linux, however is free — as in beer and as in freedom.

RohilPatel (1319)

Yes there is, it can boot into every major operating system, where you can't with a Linux or windows pc @CodeLongAndPros

lol apparently my little fake terminal inspired a whole OS war 😂

JosephSanthosh (1192)

I hate to say but that's so true though. @CodeLongAndPros

mathiasaboye (66)

3941driB (36)

@mathiasaboye well Linux Mint is open source so you can just install that on your PC ;)

DungeonMaster00 (134)

@CodeLongAndPros macs are too expensive and other pcs are pretty cheap

i use windows and ubuntu

CodeLongAndPros (1377)

@DungeonMaster00 A comparable Linux computer costs 1000 less

DungeonMaster00 (134)

@CodeLongAndPros i saw a laptop that looked like it had a lot of processing power with windows 10. it costed 400 dollars less than the macbook air which is very low quality

DungeonMaster00 (134)

@DungeonMaster00 ill give it that macos has a default terminal shell of zsh i reccomend it btw

DungeonMaster00 (134)

@RohilPatel i will probably only use windows for games i use ubuntu

3941driB (36)

DungeonMaster00 (134)
