ZMAIL: A replica of gmail.
PYer (2050)

https://repl.it/@fullern000/ZMailpy

This is a 90's replica of gmail.

It is definitely a 90's website, where you cannot email yourself and it takes a long time to load.

You must have a gmail account for this to work.

Make sure you type the emails correctly!!!

Thank you!

I get an error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "main.py", line 51, in <module>
msg['To'] = rcvrp
NameError: name 'rcvrp' is not defined

Can you please fix?

I'm having an error :(

ashtons (2)

@haya: same, it immediately errors out. here's the error I got:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "python", line 47
sndr = username + ‘@gmail.com’
^
SyntaxError: invalid character in identifier

PYer (2050)

@ashtons: I am pretty sure I fixed it. You can try again.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Does, save your password and username online? Please answer. Also I my email is pretty private.

PYer (2050)

@gramatgesj21: It does not save your password and username online. But I cannot garuntee that someone can find out your email if you use this.
Thank you for voting for me.

Just as a recommendation, you might want to make the cursor not move when writing the password, as that's what most Terminals do. This way your password is hidden.

PYer (2050)

@arnavborborah: Thank you for the recommendation but I will keep the password showing to make sure people type it right.

After I type "\Done" nothing happens :( what should happen? Can you fix it, please? I would like to tweet your repl.

PYer (2050)

@haya: I think you might have typed a forward slash (/) instead of a back slash (\).
When you type "\Done" it should ask you who is receiving this message.

haya (5)

I'll try again, I'll update you in a bit

haya (5)

@fullern000: I tried, still not working. here is a screenshot

Received Error -
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "python", line 68, in <module>
OSError: [Errno 99] Cannot assign requested address

PYer (2050)

@fafrar1211: It means that one of the emails was wrong.

Vivek12 (0)

@fullern000: I am getting the same error, but i am pretty sure that my email information and the receiver email is right. Can you please check your code?

PYer (2050)

@Vivek12 For other people it works, so it must be with what you typed in.
