@amasad Thank you! Just showing you don't always have to rely on someone else's service :)

AdCharity (1329)

Actually I have a question. Does the data persist? If it doesn't, would there be a good way to save it (my sad idea was backing it up with other db but that's rather useless)

MarcusWeinberger (590)

@AdCharity The data here does persist, as I am storing it in a free MongoDB server thingy. Instead of relying on my service you could even make your own. Check out how the server runs.

AdCharity (1329)

@MarcusWeinberger would it be possible to convert this to node.js? I think it should be pretty simple by just requiring the mongodb package, but I'm not sure. I guess I'll come to you for help :D

AdCharity (1329)

Actually I like this a lot (honestly all I've ever used is firebase)

PDanielY (1130)

I"m pretty sure jsonstore uses MongoDB plus it was only a short outage.

PDanielY (1130)

@PDanielY also this is only for python

MarcusWeinberger (590)

@PDanielY jsonstore uses google firebase but similar thing and yeah just showing there are alternatives

MarcusWeinberger (590)

@PDanielY The API I wrote can be accessed with any language

Zavexeon (1053)

Actually this is pretty neat. Just make sure to mind your language, I edited your post a tiny bit. Anyways, cool database. ^w^

MarcusWeinberger (590)

@Zavexeon whoops, sorry lol. I'll be more sensible in the future :)
